Point System for POY

• Players earn 2 points per event for participating in any of the six qualifying tournaments

• Top finishers in each of the six qualifying events will earn additional points

• If there are any ties, players/teams will split the additional points

• Spring Scramble

• 1st place team: 5 points per player

• 2nd place team: 4 points per player

• 3rd place team: 3 points per player

• 4th place team: 2 points per player

• 5th place team: 1 point per player

• Sand Creek Cup

• 1st place team: 5 points per player

• 2nd place team: 4 points per player

• 3rd place team: 3 points per player

• 4th place team: 2 points per player

• 5th place team: 1 point per player

• Men's Invitational

• Flight winners will participate in a Shootout.

• Each of the flight winners will earn additional points

• Overall Champion: 5 points per player

• Other flight winners: 2 points per player

• Club Championship

• Flight Winner: 5 points

• Flight Runner-up: 4 points

• Flight Semi-Finalist: 3 points

• Individual and Team Match Play

• Overall Winners: 5 points per player

• Runner-Ups: 4 points per player

• Semi-Finalists: 3 points per player

• Quarter-Finalists: 2 points per player

• Round of 16: 1 point per player

• 2008 Club Champion

• 13 top point earners from first 4 events in the POY qualifiers (Spring Scramble, Sand Creek Cup, Men's Invitational and Club Championship)

• Any ties on the points list will be broken by

•  Points earned in the Club Championship

•  Points earned in the Men's Invitational

•  Points earned in the Sand Creek Cup

•  Points earned in the Spring Scramble
